Food from other cultures can be a challenge for British palates as the favour balance is often unusual and unexpected, but if you enjoy experimenting and trying new cuisines then there are a few dishes here that you may like to try.

Moroccan food is usually very well received, but the Fesenjan from Persia (Iran) which combines walnuts and pomegranate molasses will be a very unusual combination as will the Doro Wat from Ethiopia.
