This cuisine can also lack that 'flavour hit' we all desire, and as a consequence many people feel it has little to offer. I feel the same way, but I think that the recipes I have included are exceptions and regularly enjoy them myself.

A few of the offerings use dried soya mince instead of minced meat and this has the advantage of being very cheap and totally fat free. On the downside it is virtually tasteless and so needs to be used in a recipe that uses other ingredients to provide the flavour base. If you can find dried soya mince give them a try, you may be surprised. World recipes include the more commly available 'meat-free mince' that can be bought at most Supermarkets.
