C41 Sauce No 1

This was inspired by "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" on Sky's Food Network channel. It does not follow any specific recipe, but follows the same principles as used in many of their concoctions. It can be used as a cooking sauce or even thickened with a little flour and poured over a finished dish.
