Various Paints
Water based paints are best as they can be easily diluted and mixed - also makes cleaning up easier.
The paints pictured here were purchased from the 'children's section' of ASDA and are very economical.
Flocking Material
Flocking refers to material that can be used to implement foliage, bushes and such like.
The picture illustrates just a few of the materials that can be used - limited only by your imagination.
Various Materials
The picture shows glues, and various strings that can be used to make scatter or grasses.
A tub of 'mixed herbs' is also shown and this can be coloured, ground small and used for foliage and scatter.
Different varieties of herbs provide variation in 'fineness' e.g. mint.
Bush Material
This shows just one source of foam material that can be used to make small bushes.
It will need to be torn appropriately and sprinkled with some scatter material.
Miscellaneous
Spray containers are essential for applying 'dampening water' and fixative glue to keep scatter material in place.
The 2 on the left are from garden centres and allow the spray to be finely controlled. The can on the right is an empty domestic spray can and these are usually of inferior quality and have only 2 spray settings - they are useful to have though.
A number of plastic cups and a means of measuring paint or glue quantities is also useful.
