Sichuan Chicken


Chicken Part Sauce Part
2 tspn oil 2 cloves garlic
1 chicken breast 2 tspn ginger
50 gm carrot (prepared weight) 1 tspn red chilli
½ yellow or red pepper ½ red pepper
2 tbspn light soy sauce 1 tomato
20 gm spring onions (prepared weight) 1 tbspn tomato ketchup
  1 tspn horseradish sauce
  1 tspn light brown sugar
  3 tbspn water



  1. Heat the oil in a wok.
  2. Add the chicken and stir fry for 2 min.
  3. Add the carrot and diced pepper and stir fry for 2 min.
  4. Add the sauce part, bring to a boil, and simmer for 3 min.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce.


  1. Serve with rice and garnish with the spring onion.
