C41 Sindhi Spice Mix
Ingredients
1 portion (approx 1 tspn) |

2 cloves |
2 black peppercorns |
1 black cardamom pod (or 2 green) |
¼ tspn cumin seeds |
2 or 3 green cardamom pods (depends on size) |
1/8 tspn ground cinnamon |
Preparation
- Deseed the cardamom pods.
- Using a pestle and mortar grind the cloves, cardamom seeds, peppercorns and cumin seeds to a fine powder.
- Mix in the ground cinnamon.
- Store in an airtight container in a cool and dark place.
Notes
Black cardamom can be purchased at Asian stores or supermarkets.
